The Creative Village will be home to UCF Downtown, the new UCF expansion into the heart of Orlando. The mixed-use development will include not only a 600-bed student housing complex but also new shops, restaurants and other housing options for students, residents and visitors to downtown Orlando.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Though we are still a way\u2019s away from students living, studying and sleeping in this innovative downtown space, the Orlando City Council unanimously approved the development agreement in October and should be complete by August of 2019\u2013just in time for UCF\u2019s fall semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We cannot wait for this new, exciting space to come to life with the anticipated 7,700 students set to come in from both Valencia College and UCF.
